Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco hills: wonderful area to discover

The Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG area includes around 6.000 hectares of vineyards and few more of 100 are located in the Cartizze, an area in the municipality of Valdobbiadene.

It has been started the path to candidate the hills of Prosecco as UNESCO World Heritage, for their beauty and peculiarity: the temperate climate, with winter not so cold and summer warm is ideal for the vineyards that are at an altitude between 50 and 500 meter above the sea level.

Conegliano, the heart of the wine culture, is the headquarter of the first School of winemaking of Italy and of the first Sperimental Center for the viticulture, instead Valdobbiadene, the heart of the wine production, hosts the majority of the vineyards.
